Breaking news : Tour de France 2021 comes to Saint Nicholas des Eaux and Pontivy
Leg 3 (28 June) of the Tour de France 2021 crosses the Blavet by our base in Saint Nicolas and finishes in front of the Chateau in the centre of Pontivy. Our boats on the Blavet are still available that week for a grandstand view at either location!
News Update : Early booking discount of 10% offered on 2021 holidays booked in 2020
Our 2020 season has now closed on the waterways of Brittany. After a Covid delayed start to the season following the the spring lockdowns and the resultant delays to the opening of the canals, we had a short but very active season, with many people choosing to take their holidays this year in a beautiful environment where it one can easily apply good Covid practices without feeling constrained.
We still have a few people who were unable to rearrange holidays in 2020 and we look forward to welcoming them in 2021.
We found that we were able to effectively manage appropriate cleaning and hand-over of the boats, with any necessary instruction and training.
The impact of Coronavirus is likely to stay with us all for some time, but what better way to self-isolate than on a canal boating holiday?
So, if you can travel to Brittany, we would be delighted to welcome you for a holiday with Brittany Boating in 2021.
